Logjam 2008, April 26&27

We had a gorgeous Saturday of surfing! The temperature was perfect and everyone had a great time! Here's the Day 1 results, with Mario Quiros taking the top spot.

And Sunday was even better as the wind stayed away all day and the waves picked up. We had a bunch of whale spottings outside the kelp bed today. Here are the Logjam Final results.

We raffled off 5 beautiful surf boards from Ward Coffey Shapes, Surftech, Pearson Arrow, Vernor, Michel Junod, Freeline and GLS.in our ever-popular fundraiser. We auctioned off two other boards and gave away prizes including gorgeous photographs and artwork, restaurant gift certificates, board bags, shoes and clothing.

This is a non-profit organizaiton and the funds raised from the big raffle and any charitable donations go right back to the local Santa Cruz community by funding the Student Scholarship Program, Ride-A-Wave, Santa Cruz Surfrider Foundation, and the Junior Lifeguards program.
